Arba: Jurnal Studi Keislaman is a scientific journal that presents in-depth, current, and critical studies on various aspects of Islam through a multidisciplinary approach, encouraging dialogue between Islamic scientific traditions and contemporary scientific developments. This journal serves as an academic platform for researchers, lecturers, students, academics, and practitioners to publish original research findings, conceptual ideas, and scientific reviews that contribute to the advancement of Islamic studies, which are contextual, responsive, and relevant to the dynamics of modern society. The journal's scope covers various fields of study, including the study of the Qur'an and Hadith, Islamic thought, Islamic education, Islamic history, Islamic law, Islamic philosophy, Islamic creed, Islamic economics, as well as various contemporary issues developing in the Islamic world at the local, national, and global levels. Published periodically by the Albahriah Jamiah Indonesia Foundation, Arba: Jurnal Studi Keislaman is committed to maintaining the quality of scientific publications through an objective manuscript selection process, a strict double-blind peer review system, and adherence to internationally accepted ethical principles of scientific publication. This journal also opens space for cross-disciplinary and cross-institutional collaboration to enrich perspectives on various Islamic issues in a comprehensive and integrative manner. By prioritizing originality, academic integrity, and tangible scientific contributions, Arba: Jurnal Studi Keislaman is expected to become a credible academic reference for the development of Islamic sciences and a medium for disseminating knowledge that encourages the emergence of inclusive, transformative, and societal-oriented Islamic thought.

This edition of Arba: Jurnal Studi Keislaman presents articles that examine Islamic history in the post-Oriental era, presenting diverse academic perspectives on the development of historiography and contemporary discourse in Islamic studies. This edition has been available online since July 29, 2026. It features contributions from 24 authors from three continents—Asia, Australia, and the Americas—and representing 13 academic affiliations in nine countries: Jordan, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia, Korea, and the United States. The diversity of the authors’ academic backgrounds reflects the journal’s commitment to fostering global scholarly dialogue and enriching the repertoire of contemporary Islamic studies.
