Al-Qarawiyyin: Jurnal Ilmu Ushuluddin is a scientific journal that focuses on developing and deepening Ushuluddin science, covering fields such as Islamic aqidah and philosophy, interpretation and the science of the Qur’an, hadith and hadith science, and contemporary Islamic thought. This journal is an academic forum for researchers, lecturers, students, and Islamic practitioners to present ideas and research results grounded in normative-theological and contextual-critical approaches. By paying attention to the development of relevant religious issues, Al-Qarawiyyin plays an important role in strengthening the tradition of Islamic science, sourced from classical treasures but adaptable to the challenges of the times. Published periodically by the Albahriah Jamiah Indonesia Foundation, which is committed to the development of Islamic studies, Al-Qarawiyyin: Jurnal Ilmu Ushuluddin upholds academic standards and scientific publication ethics. Each article published goes through a strict peer-review process and is written by academics from various backgrounds, both national and international. In addition to serving as a medium for disseminating knowledge, this journal is also expected to serve as an important reference for the development of the Ushuluddin study curriculum and for the formation of an inclusive, moderate Islamic thought in dialogue with contemporary social realities.

This edition of Al-Qarawiyyin: Jurnal Ilmu Ushuluddin presents several articles examining the relationship between Islamic philosophy and artificial intelligence from various epistemological, ethical, and contemporary perspectives. This edition has been available online since June 27, 2026, and features scholarly contributions from 24 authors from three continents—Asia, Africa, and Europe. The authors represent 15 academic affiliations from 11 countries: Turkey, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Belgium, Ukraine, Sudan, the United States, and Canada.
