Kamali: Jurnal Ilmu Agama is a scientific journal that focuses on academic and interdisciplinary studies of religious studies, encompassing theological, philosophical, historical, sociological, and anthropological dimensions, as well as spiritual practices in contemporary society. The journal aims to be a forum for developing scientific discourse that bridges interfaith understanding through a scientific, comparative, and contextual approach.

The journal's primary focus includes studies across religious traditions, with particular attention to the dynamics of sacred texts, teachings, values, and religious practices in shaping global morality, culture, and humanity.

Scope

This journal accepts research articles, conceptual reviews, and comparative studies in the field of Religious Studies, including, among others:

1. Study of Sacred Texts and Sources of Religious Teachings, including but not limited to:

  • Islam: The Qur'an, Hadith, and classical and contemporary exegetical traditions.
  • Christianity: Bible (Old and New Testaments) and modern patristic and theological writings.
  • Catholicism: Sacred Scripture, Church Tradition, Papal encyclicals, and the teachings of the Ecumenical Councils.
  • Hinduism: Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, and dharmasastra literature.
  • Buddha: Tripitaka (Tipitaka), Mahayana sutras, and Abhidhamma texts.
  • Confucianism: The Sishu and Wujing (Four Books and Five Classics).
