Theme: Female Symbols in Religious Dogma

Kamali: Jurnal Ilmu Agama invites academics, researchers, lecturers, students, and practitioners to submit their best scholarly articles for Volume 2, Number 2 (December 2026) with the theme "Female Symbols in Religious Dogma." This edition aims to enrich interfaith studies on the representation, symbolism, position, and theological construction of women in various religious traditions, including Abrahamic religions, Eastern religions, and other faith traditions.

We welcome articles exploring issues such as female symbols in scripture, female figures in religious narratives, feminine sanctity and spirituality, women in religious rituals and institutions, feminist hermeneutics, gender theology, the representation of women in local religious traditions, and the dynamics between dogma, culture, and social change. An interdisciplinary approach that integrates religious studies, philosophy, history, anthropology, sociology, law, and gender studies is encouraged.

Applicable topics include, but are not limited to:
