CALL FOR PAPER “The Future of Quranic Studies in the Era of Artificial Intelligence”

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) is bringing about major changes in various aspects of life, including Islamic studies and Quranic studies. AI is not only a digital tool but also challenges the boundaries of authority, methodology, and interpretation of sacred texts.

Amidst the emergence of applications such as machine learning, NLP (Natural Language Processing), and automated data interpretation systems, an important question arises:

  • What is the position of AI in the epistemology of Qur'anic science?
  • To what extent can AI help or limit human interpretation?
  • What are the ethics of using AI in religion according to the perspective of the Qur'an?

In this regard, we invite researchers, academics, students, and practitioners to submit papers on the following broad themes:

5. Study of Criticism and Response of Scholars

  • The attitude of scholars towards the application of AI in Islamic studies
